EPD Senior Detective Ron Harpham and HCSO Detective Jennifer Turner expected to testify in former correctional deputy Cory Fisher's alleged molestation case

Preliminary hearing scheduled for former correctional deputy Cory Fisher is expected to start this afternoon and most likely continue tomorrow.  The hearing is scheduled to start at 1:30 in Courtroom 3.

Not enough courtrooms were available this morning. The last time estimate was 3-4 hours. EPD Senior Detective Ron Harpham and HCSO Detective Jennifer Turner are expected to testify. There maybe additional witnesses.

If you are unfamiliar with this case, the links below include the Ramey warrant, the charges in detail and information on pending lawsuits in which Humboldt County inmates have made allegations against Fisher. It will give you a pretty good idea of the testimony this afternoon.

He is charged with 14 counts of alleged sexual abuse and inappropriate behavior involving six minor male victims. 10 felony counts and four misdemeanors.

Two men were in the audience this morning and spoke with Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads outside. Whether they are related to any of the alleged victims or Fisher or have any connection to this case is unknown at this time.

The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads. Fisher is represented by Deputy Conflict Counsel Joe Judge.
