Two Wyandotte County, Kansas sheriff's deputies shot outside the County Courthousewhile transporting inmates to court.
The male deputy succumbed to his injuries.
A female deputy was wounded, survived, but later she also passed away from her injuries.
Investigation is ongoing, very few details released. Authorities said it is possible that the deputies were shot with one of their own weapons.
While authorities have not released the name of the suspect sources have told Kansas media that the inmate being transported was Antoine Fielder. He has a lengthy criminal history.
