DA dismisses indecent exposure charge, Gilmore pleads to lesser charge and SWAP authorized by court

What I said about the outcome of this case and resolution in my very first post about  Clinton Monroe Ellis-Gilmore's arrest was exactly what happened. I was the first to report about the arrest, reported exclusively details and  and every hearing.

Gilmore was arrested by HCSO for PC 314 (2) indecent exposure. Gilmore was arrested at a turnout in the area of South Jetty Road/Table Bluff Road in Loleta, following complaints of indecent exposure. The DA charged him with PC 314 (1) indecent exposure.

Today, at his trial confirmation, Ellis-Gilmore entered a plea.  He pleaded guilty to an added count of PC 647 (a) lewd conduct in public as a misdemeanor. The indecent exposure charge was dismissed. The jury trial for October 30 was vacated. He was authorized for SWAP by the court and wont serve a day in jail. Commit to jail date is December 2. Gilmore was placed on probation for one year.

Sentence for violation of PC 647(a)  can be up to 6 months in county jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. Many cases are resolved for misdemeanor probation and little or no jail time. With this charge, sex offender registration is not required. If Gilmore had been convicted of PC 314 (1) that would not be the case.

Money and connections trump justice again; in Humboldt. Anyone shocked? Will hubby and he be celebrating with dinner at the Elks Lodge?
