Convicted sex offender and violent repeat criminal David Couch was arrested by HCSO yesterday on new charges of PC 290.018(a) failure to register as a sex offender and HS11377 (a) possession of meth. Couch was also booked on his bench warrant for in a 2022 case for PC 417 (a) 1, brandishing a weapon or firearm and a 2021 case for VC23152 (f) driving under the influence of drugs.
I have written about David Couch previously since 2020. The last two posts were two arrests in 2022 and both were for failure to register as a sex offender. In July 2020, I was at the Courthouse. Couch threatened security and said he would blow up the building.
