Does this PRA response answer why the DA did not charge Crista Myers, sister of a Deputy DA?

I had sent an email to District Attorney Stacey Eads on October 11 about why charges had not been filed against Crista Myers, sister of Deputy District Attorney Candace Myers. Usually, I just send an email to Ms. Eads directly. I made this a formal media PRA request.

I received this response from the County today. Does it answer the question why the DA did not charge Crista Myers?

The same EPD that found Crista Myers wound were self inflicted and led to charges against her husband being dismissed by DA had their report  rejected by the DA for lack of evidence? As usual, the County PRA response is worded in a manner that makes it a wasted effort and does not answer the question definitively.

The last post I did on Crista Myers' husbands case was in January 19 2023 which was a response to my January 18 2023 post.

On January 18, instead of his preliminary hearing, case against U.S. Forest Service employee Matthew Salmon was dismissed by the People. The protective order issued was terminated. Unlike the random by certain media and non coverage by others, As most of my cases, I report on the arrest and follow it through conclusion.

In my January 18 post, I wrote:

Salmon should thank the Eureka Police Department.

EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell said, "As a result of the complete investigation and the totality of evidence, it was determined that the female’s wounds were consistent with being self-inflicted.  The Eureka Police Department forwarded these findings to the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office and the case against Matthew Salmon was dismissed."

Arrests are made, charges are filed and investigation continues beyond the initial arrest and sometimes up to trial. In Salmon's case, charges were dismissed today due to a thorough investigation by EPD. In 99.9 % of the cases, the arrests result in charges which end in a resolution, plea or conviction.

Salmon's arrest and filing of charges was news. So is the dismissal. And both were reported on the blog as the case made it way through the legal system. News with verification and information from law enforcement and court records
