"The 422 is a serious charge. The case is two years old. He keeps picking up new cases."

Trial  confirmation was scheduled on October 15 for Brian Daniels. Jury trial for October 26 was confirmed on that day. He has more than one case.

At trial assignment on October 23, since Daniel is out of custody, has waived time and no courtrooms were available, the Court continued the trial. Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner made a 977 apperance on behalf of Daniels who I have yet to see at a court hearing.

Judge Cockrum told District Attorney Maggie Fleming that the Eureka Vets Hall could not be used because, "we have to be out of there by the 30th."

DA Fleming objected to the continuance. "The 422 is a serious charge. The case is two years old. He keeps picking up new cases."

Trial confirmation is scheduled for November 17 and jury trial for January 4. Time estimate is one week.
