Save America Free Speech got a permit for a rally in the U.N. plaza in San Francisco. This is a protest against Twitter and big tech. It is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. today and move to Twitter headquarters at 4 p.m. The event is organized by users who say Twitter is banning and restricting conservatives. Flyers and social media are being circulated to organize counter protesters.
Update: The event was cancelled after several hundred counterprotesters showed up. According to some media reports, the organizers were outnumbered and there was at least one person taken away in an ambulance.
