Woman who broke into EPD officer's house deemed competent to stand trial

Last December, Jacquelyn Bradley was ordered by Judge Timothy Canning to be committed to the State Hospital for an in patient treatment program. Bradley retained her right to refuse anti-psychotic meds.

Today, there was a hearing about her PC 1368 status. Bradley has been deemed competent to stand trial by the State Hospital.

There is a hearing for competency certification scheduled for June 2. Her attorney, Ms. Andrea Sullivan, has not objected yet to her client's return to custody in Humboldt. Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm plans to submit on the certification.

Bradley has three cases. One was a 2019 burglary case after she allegedly broke into an EPD officer's house. Charges for her other 2019 case is driving with a suspended/revoked  license. Charge for her 2018 case is alleged violation of parole.
