Four cases concerning domestic violence, recently sentenced to a felony and he continues to violate stay away orders

Timothy Anderson had four cases on calendar this afternoon for his OR/bail hearing.

Two cases were from 2020, one from 2019 and one from 2018. His most recent arrest was for domestic violence. Bail for his most recent arrest was for $50,000.

Judge Christopher Wilson was made aware of a 5th case at today's hearing. Judge Wilson reminded Anderson that he had been served with a no contact criminal protective order. His communication in jail is recorded. He told Anderson "don't violate the order."

"Four out of five cases concern domestic violence," said Judge Wilson. "You cannot abide by the stay away orders. You were just sentenced to a felony on February 27."

The charge for Anderson's latest case has a "prison term potential" and the People have requested an enhancement, PC 273 (f) (1), "any person convicted of violating this section for acts occurring within seven years of a previous conviction under subdivision (a), or subdivision (d) of Section 243, or Section 243.4, 244, 244.5, or 245, shall be punished by imprisonment in a county jail for not more than one year, or by imprisonment in the state prison for two, four, or five years, or by both imprisonment and a fine of up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000)."

Judge Wilson denied supervised release because Anderson posed a danger to the community.

Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is Anderson's attorney. Judge Wilson said if surgical procedure csn be verified, "some sort of pass" can be arranged for Anderson.

I will be adding when he was arraigned and other dates later. With a lot of cases on and news this week, covering arraignment for this case wasn't a priority.
