Judge grants preliminary injunction against California ammunition background check law

In a 120-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Roger T. Benitez granted the motion for preliminary injunction against California's ammunition background check law.

“The experiment has been tried. The casualties have been counted. California’s new ammunition background check law misfires and the Second Amendment rights of California citizens have been gravely injured."

  1. The basic problem with this law is the name because it's not a background check. It is a address verification, they want to know if the person actually has and address to match the wepons registration.
I however I believe it's being used to ferret out unregistered firearms. Ie: you attempted to purchase 44 caliber ammunition and you do not have a 44 caliber weapon registered to you? We are now going to be searching you home and seizing all your weapons and throwing you in the dungeon.
