Santa Clara, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Marin and San Francisco counties and the city of Berkeley have eased some restrictions starting May 4 regarding the shelter-in-place order which was extended to May 31.
Construction, real estate transactions and certain outdoor businesses can resume as long as they comply with safety and social distancing protocols.
Nurseries, landscapers, gardeners and childcare programs for essential workers if there are less than 12 children present, can operate.
All real estate transactions and residential moves also are allowed but there limitations on open houses and in-person home viewings continue.
