"Premier believes the investment in medical care of our community is just as vital as the financial well being of our community. As a business we are interested in our community thriving in all areas of life"

Premier Financial Group Chairman and Founder Wayne Caldwell, like many local business owners, contributes to the community regularly. Like many local business owners, Mr. Caldwell is modest about such work.

It took some convincing on my part and ultimately his passion for Premier’s Philanthropic  Initiative: Humboldt  Healthcare  Peace of  Mind won.

The project started with an  idea in 2018 to help cultivate collaboration between local  business  owners and donors  with medical  providers  and first responders.

By the  end of  2019,  Mr. Caldwell,  along  with Premier Financial  Group, had  donated over  $268,000 towards  local  medical  care and local  medical  education.  In March of  2020,  Mr. Caldwell donated another  $100,000 to The  St.  Joseph Hospital  Foundation;  $35,000  of  which  is  designated to purchase another  much  needed ventilator  to help  meet  Humboldt’s  needs  in the  wake  of  the  COVID-19 outbreak.  This donation for the ventilators was  spearheaded by  Premier's President Ginger Weber, chair of the steering committee for Women for  Wellness.

The  83 members  voted  unanimously  to have their dues  purchase three ventilators  for  St.  Joseph  Humboldt,  which  led  to additional  donations  allowing  for  the purchase of  11  new  ventilators  to  care  for  our  community.

“Medical care  is  the  entity that touches  every  person  in  our community," said Mr. Caldwell." Regardless  of age,  race, orientation, or financial  ability, it will impact  every  life  at  some  point  or another."

"Premier believes the investment in medical care of our community is just as vital as the financial well being of our community. As a business we are interested in our community thriving in all areas of life," said Mr. Caldwell.
