"The transition to Stage 2 will occur through a statewide modification to the stay-at-home order."

Gavin Newsom could have chosen to give local government the authority to implement Phase 2 without a modification to his statewide order. He did not; the four points below are from the Los Angeles Times on the four phases to reopen parts of the economy in California.

"The transition to Stage 2 will occur through a statewide modification to the stay-at-home order."

"During Stage 2, counties may choose to relax stricter local orders at their own pace."

"Following Stage 2, once a statewide COVID-19 surveillance system is made possible through testing, further regional variations could be supported."

"The state will consult and collaborate closely with local governments."

  1. Since the idiot just closed down state parks and beaches I doubt that we'll see any opening up.

    1. All the people who voted for Gavin the dictator are just as responsible for the devastation of California and our local economy. Yet, the very same people have no problem with the federal stimulus checks or PPP loans.

  2. Actually, all the state parks have been closed for close to a month. I just left today as a camphost for the Anza-Borrego Desert State park. They closed off all roads and campsites in this 660,000 acre park!
