Around 1 a.m. heard a female screaming. Sounded like the direction of 5th Street. Some ruckus. Once that finally quieted down. Around 1:20 a.m. these two guys started yelling. That fence and alley are a problem and daily since the shelter in place order.
What caught my attention besides the constant "Fuck, Fuck, Fuck" which was every other word, was the words "murder", "I got money" and "got out of there."
I called dispatch, just out of caution. Shortly after, they were gone. EPD did their job and showed up but couldn't locate anyone. These frequent flyers know how to game the system.
At 3 a.m., a group of younger miscreants that have been hanging out in the alley and on private property lately decided it was time to smoke, yell and shoot up.
This group includes a foul mouthed skank who doesn't like to be reminded of the law or that she needs to stay off private property. She cussed, yelled trying to impress the pimply faced punks she was hanging out with but left like all the other cowards after disturbing the neighborhood.
Eureka Mayor Susan Seaman regurgitates useless PSAs with old information and her select media tools run these instead of asking her and Eureka City Council to address real issues and enact effective solutions.
There has been no real enforcement of the local shelter in place order and criminals have been wandering the streets day and night taking full advantage. The enforcement of the facial covering will be the same.
Federal and state officials ignored what is now this pandemic. Gavin Newsom and California's elected officials enable criminals and have created this nightmare. Fining and threatening law abiding citizens with jail time over not wearing a mask and trampling over constitutional rights is the failed leadership of California's elected officials.
COVID 19 is another excuse for Newsom to release more criminals and have them see there are no consequences.
