Will convicted sex offender Michael Franco resolve his alleged molestation trial on Monday?

Trial confirmation was scheduled for alleged molestor and convicted sex offender molestor Michael Franco on February 20. Jury trial is scheduled to start February 24.

A defense offer of 22 years was discussed with family and was rejected.

Before trial assignment on February 21, Mr. Russ Clanton discussed another offer with Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads.  That offer was 20 plus years and to waive all credits.

In court today, Franco is going to discuss that new offer with his family over the weekend. If he doesn't accept it by Monday, it will be withdrawn. A hearing at 8:30 as a special set is scheduled for 2/24. If the case does not resolve, Franco's jury trial will "trail".

Mr. Clanton is currently in the middle of Jack Daniel's jury trial.
