At intervention today, Deputy District Attorney Adrian Kamada's motion to file an amended complaint in Tanner's homicide case was granted. Judge Kaleb Cockrum also granted Mr. Kamada's request for no bail. The no bail is based on the bail schedule and a new charge in the amended complaint.
The amended complaint is not in the system. The original complaint had three counts; the amended complaint has 15 counts.
The DA also filed a new case against Tanner today with assault, criminal threats and kidnapping charges. Tanner was supposed to be arraigned today on the new case but that got rescheduled to tomorrow.
Conflict Counsel had a conflict so Mr. Russ Clanton was appointed today to represent Tanner.
Another intervention and a bail review hearing is set for March 2. Preliminary hearing for the homicide case is currently set for March 3.
