In my post yesterday, I had information on two of local attorney Michael Acosta's criminal cases. Today,I have the charges along with the information on those cases. The DA's office has not received a report yet on Acosta's most recent arrest. With Acosta and three other co-defendants out of custody, the DA's office has time to schedule the arraignment.
In yesterday's post, there is also information on Bryan McBeth's previous cases.
This is not Acosta's first arrest for meth. According to a source, there was meth found in Acosta's safe. That source the People dismissed the case because they felt they could not prove the meth belonged to Acosta. This was during the Paul Gallegos administration.
A 2010 case was also dismissed against Acosta. Charges in the case were connected to the Maggie Wortman case.
