A civil harassment petition was filed by Eureka Councilmember Kim Bergel against Cornelius Lowenstein on 1/30/20. Court records lists Bergel as the petitioner and Lowenstein as the respondent and the hearing is set for 1:30 in Courtroom Four. Paperwork was served on Lowenstein on 2/18/20.

Courtroom #4 at 1:30 PM Friday February 21st 2020. Cornelius is the founder of Make Eureka Safe again and a verbal critic of Bergel's pro HACHR/needle exchange stance. This is nothing but anti free speech and bullying by the so called city counsel. Bergel is trying to get a restraining order against Cornelius to keep him out of Eureka City Council meetings.

ReplyDeleteThis is a complete sham and Kim should be off Cory council and ideally in jail for what she has done to this community. This is a violation of free speech and is unconstitutional. Cornelius has every right to voice his opinion in the fullest.
ReplyDeleteThis is very funny, since her husband actually threatened at least two men with physical violence in Facebook message leading up to her re-election because they were criticizing her on Facebook. I know there are screenshots these people saved of these incidences. Also he's told me to stop criticizing her on Facebook and he was doing that to other people. These people are dumb because she's a politician and politicians get criticized and Cornelius has every right to go to the meetings and criticize her an area of grievances. He has every right to rant and criticize her on Facebook. It's actually her husband who is the dangerous Loose Cannon who actually harasses people and threatens them. This whole move is just Nazi- like. And it's funny because she actually sent Cornelius a racist meme basically calling him a Nazi because he's German. So she's very not so nice person so she likes to pretend she is. She's fake and she's corrupt and she lacks integrity and dignity.
