Intervention was scheduled for Demetrius Coleman and Alma Ahumadamendoza on February 20. Preliminary hearing scheduled for February 24 was vacated.
Conflict Counsel's office represents Coleman and made an oral motion to continue. The Public Defender represents Ahumadamendoza and objected to the motion but Judge Kaleb Cockrum granted the motion for good cause.
Coleman is charged with murder and special allegation that he personally and intentionally discharged a firearm which caused great bodily injury or death to Johnny Renfro.
Ahumadamendoza is charged as an accessory after the fact.
Intervention was rescheduled for March 11; preliminary hearing for March 18.
