Pamela Faye Millsap charged with voluntary manslaughter and child abuse


Pamela Faye Millsap was arrested on February 18 by Eureka Police Department and booked on involuntary manslaughter. The victim was her son. Bail at booking was $35,000. Bail after arraignment was raised to $270,000.

Millsap is on the must go list for February 21. District Attorney Maggie Fleming said she will be arraigned today. The case is in the process of being filed right now. No case number as of 1:25 p.m.

Millsap's mother is here at the Courthouse with another man. Millsap's mother was crying before court. I just told her what Courtroom the arraignment will be in and another man just joined her.

1:30: Charges finally filed. One count of voluntary manslaughter, two counts of child abuse and one special allegation.




3:04: Public Defender's office had a conflict. The office of Conflict Counsel was appointed. Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps was present at arraignment. Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Time was not waived. Intervention is on March 2; preliminary hearing is on March 4.
