"I think there are some significant evidentiary issues with this case"

Trial confirmation was scheduled for Thomas Harwood this morning. Jury trial was confirmed.

Harwood's attorney, Mr. Michael Robinson told Judge Christopher Wilson that he had spoken with Deputy District Attorney Jessica Acosta.

"I think there are some significant evidentiary issues with this case," said Mr.Robinson. " She was not persuaded."

Request to exonerate Harwood's bail bond today was denied by Judge Wilson. He asked Mr. Robinson to file a written motion.

Harwood also had another case on calendar with alleged violations of Fish and Game codes. He has a codefendant in that case. A possible resolution was suggested by the defense in that case which involves fines anda deferred entry of judgement.

Deputy DA David Moutrie appeared in court for the People.
