Aaron Hooven wanted to serve jail time instead of SWAP, he got his wish today

Sentencing was continued to December 18 for Aaron Hooven. It was continued again to this morning since Judge Christopher Wilson was not in that day. The sentencing had been continued several times.

Hooven was originally charged with assault. His guilty plea included dismissal of that charge. Hooven is convicted of shooting at an occupied motor vehicle.

Today, Hooven was placed on 5 years formal probation and sentenced to jail  for 180 days. He has 97 days of custody credits. Hooven chose to serve the rest of time in the jail and was remanded into custody in court.
