I just spoke with Dave Silverbrand. For all those concerned about him, he responded to me in typical Dave fashion by saying, " I am okay, other than mixing it up with someone at a MLK rally. Today is not a good day to mess with Dave."

Dave is on his way to submit a protective order to HCSO. Since the Courthouse was closed today, I told Dave how to get to a deputy. He wanted information about bail and the charges.

Dave was granted a temporary restraining order. Dave said his cats Squeak and Princesa are protected parties.

Dave and I know each other from when I used to attend St. Bernard's church. I have done housesitting and petsitting for him. I have personal knowledge of the relationship with his current wife and asked Dave if he was comfortable talking about what happened. Dave reminded me his life has been an open book and told me he was fine talking with me.

Dave was at a MLK rally today filming the choir. A woman came up to him and asked if he had permission. Dave responded, " This is for TV." The woman said to him, " You are invading their space." Dave responded, " If Dr. King was here today, I don't think he would be happy with the way you are treating me."
