"When I get out of jail, I am going to kick your ass"

This morning between 9:30 to 12:30,  three incidents against law abiding citizens that could have been avoided if the HACHR loving councilmembers, the local criminal enablers and the "anti cop" local media actually reported the truth and held those responsible accountable. EPD is the only reason law abiding citizens in Eureka feel safe.

Law enforcement hands are tied by local and state officials and their failure to protect citizens. California laws are a joke and criminals are getting bolder.

I was at a local business on 5th Street who told me that when power went out recently, transients/druggies broke the back window into the business. There were signs of someone camping there but fortunately nothing was stolen. The business owner opened the store late today after dealing with carboard trash and bedding left on the street.

Few minutes later,  I was walking through the alley on 5th Street near J, across from City Hall and EPD Officer Joseph Couch was talking to a couple living in the apartments behind Fidelity Investments about some man. Officer Couch was taking a report.

About half an hour ago, a mentally ill woman and a regular criminal with a red cap and red shirt were in the alley behind the gas station on 5th and N. Tweakers, mentally ill, transients camp out there day and night on private property. I have written about issues in the alley before. Today was no different.

These alleys near private property and businesses are a 24/7 hangout for criminals and drug addicts who trash and vandalize, shoot up, create disturbances and fight.

Doing simple tasks and errands near your home in Eureka involves being confronted, harrased, threatened and pan handled. The concept of jail does not scare these miscreants. They feel a sense of entitlement, even on private property.

The guy in the red cap and shirt said to me, "When I get out of jail, I am going to kick your ass." Then he turned out to swing at me and the mentally ill woman grabbed his hand.
He is the tresspasser who saw me as the problem. He ran the moment he saw me calling EPD.

Will it take lawsuit filed in the Ninth Circuit and against the state of California and local officials by victims of crime get their attention? Their rulings and laws are directly responsible for this lawlessness.
