HCSO Deputy Luke Mathieson recognized by City of Trinidad
Last night HCSO Deputy Luke Mathieson received a Proclamation of Appreciation and Service from the City of Trinidad for his three years of dedicated policing as their contract city deputy.
This month Deputy Mathieson was assigned to a new specialty position and transferred to the McKinleyville Station. Deputy Joseph Jager has taken his place as Trinidad’s new deputy.
In the proclamation the City recognized Luke’s commitment to community policing and credited him with significantly reducing crime in and around the city through his partnerships with the community and local tribes, proactive policing, and his relationships with the CHP, State Parks and other allied agencies.--HCSO
