Jury trial for murder suspect David Kobak will start on January 13. It was assigned to Judge Timothy Canning in Courtroom 1.
The victim was Kobak's roommate, Frederick William Loftus.
There was some discussion of discovery that the defense still has to provide to the People. The discovery has to do with defense expert and her opinion on alcohol toxicity and how an old man's body metabolizes alcohol.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for this case. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Kobak's attorney.
