Yet another continuance but "tentative resolution" reached in alleged molestor Joshua Strange's case

Alleged molestor Joshua Strange has intervention scheduled on 9/4/19. Intervention was continued for the sixth time to September 10. The parties have a tentative resolution, according to Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield.

Preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9/11.

Strange is charged with four counts. Count 1 and 2 are oral copulation/sexual penetration with a child under 10. Count 3 and 4 is lewd and lascivious act with a child under the age of 14 years.

At the last hearing, Mr. Luke Brownfield asked for a continuance so he could discuss the People's 12 year offer with Strange. There have been continuances already regarding the resolution of the case and I have reported on all of them.

Strange's presence was waived for today's hearing.

Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads was present for intervention but Deputy DA Roger Rees appeared on the case in open court. The DA discusses any resolution with the alleged victim.
