Convicted felon Shaine Haugen was arrested again on 10/2. The DA filed charges for this second 2025 case today and arraignment on this new case is this afternoon. Haugen is charged with 7 counts; two felonies and five misdemeanors.
CR2502260 is the case for the 10/2 arrest. Haugen arraigned this afternoon. Conflict Counsel appointed. OR bail on 10/8; preliminary hearing on 10/16.
CR2502066 OR bail on 10/8; pre trial on 10/16. Trial confirmation on 11/13; jury trial on 11/17.
10/8/25: Humboldt Superior Court Retired Judge Marilyn Miles denied supervised release in CR2502260 and CR2502066. Preliminary hearing in CR2502260 on 10/16; pre trial in CR2502066 on the same date. 11/13 & 11/17 dates vacated in CR2502066.
10/14/25: Defense motion to continue preliminary hearing granted; rescheduled to 11/14.
11/13/25: Defense motion to continue preliminary hearing scheduled for 11/14 granted; new date is 1/23/26.
