Convicted sex offender Michael Kreider resolved his child pornography case by pleading guilty to PC 311.11 (a) (1) possession of obscene materials depicting a child engaging in sexual conduct. He was sentenced on 10/14.
Judge Lawrence Killoran sentenced Kreider to 2 years probation. First Humboldt Superior Court case I have covered where there are these accomodations for probation terms. Why are all these modifications being made for someone convicted of a perverse crime? With Humboldt's repeat offenders, were these necessary?
Kreider cannot consume alcohol but his wife may have wine in the home. Kreider can have internet access but must provide passwords to Probation. Light duty for community service due to medical issues.
The light duty if proof was provided, then I am okay with that change. The other two are just coddling behavior of criminals in California and their enablers. His wife's priority is her wine consumption? I guess child porn is not a deal breaker for her.
A PPR report is scheduled on 11/13 because one firearm is "unaccounted for," according to court minutes.
