Jury selection started today in one of convicted criminal and repeat offender Nicholas Sarkozy's cases. Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran was assigned the trial which was confirmed in CR2501309 last Friday.
Deputy District Attorney Brandon Boozari is the prosecutor for both cases. Humboldt County DA Investigator Tim Marsolan was designated as investigative officer.
Deputy Conflict Counsel Zach Curtis is Sarkozy's attorney.
That was the same day Sarkozy had a preliminary hearing and was held to answer by Judge Kaleb Cockrum as charged in CR2502092. In this case, pre trial was scheduled today. Arraignment on information in this second case is on 10/17.

Jury selection started 10/6. Gregory Kreis' client and convicted criminal Cotc Lincoln is one of the witnesses. 10/8, 10/9 and 10/10 trial not in session since Mr. Curtis is ill. Jurors asked to return 10/13.
10/15/25: Jury sworn. Charges amended.
