My report of alleged molestor Michael Davis may or may not be relevant but at this early stage, it isn't evidence, corroboration or helpful in family law case

I have attorneys include my articles in filings but today is the first time at the clerk's office I heard someone and refer to my article on alleged molestor Michael Davis as "evidence" in a family law case. The declaration filed is public. However, I did not post on October 5, 2025. My article was on September 29, 2025 so that is an error in the filing. The family law case involves Davis' co-defendant Samantha Summers.

Others have used my articles to locate suspects, their belongings but I wouldn't necessarily know if someone and how often someone used information posted on my blog. That is possible because I have kept access to my content free.

Davis was arrested on September 28. Granted supervised release on 10/3. He hasn't even had a preliminary hearing yet. Co-defendant Samantha Summers is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.

Hopefully, the person has other evidence to back their allegations because a report of an arrest is not evidence of a crime.

The arrest maybe relevant and there are often overlaps in civil and family cases with criminal cases in Humboldt.
