With the amount of cases he has and prior convictions, Quentin Bell should have never been granted supervised release; his failure to appear is no surprise, more waste of time just as his ridiculous civil lawsuit

I did this post on Bell's ridiculous civil lawsuit on October 7.

Bell has a 2025 case. He is charged with PC 666.1; petty theft with two priors. If you have more than two priors, it is a felony.

Bell was arraigned on 9/30/25, Public Defender's office was appointed. On 10/2 at his OR bail hearing, he was granted supervised release. He failed to appear in court for his preliminary hearing on 10/10/25. A bench warrant issued for $35,000 was issued by Retired Humboldt Superior Court Judge John Feeney. Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm appeared on the case for the People. Humboldt Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo for his office and Bell.

10/14/25: Bell was booked into the Humboldt County jail on his bench warrant by Humboldt County Probation.

10/16/25: Arraigned on warrant. Supervised release terminated. Deputy DA Victoria Reierstad appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Public Defender Ryan McClurg was present for his office and Bell. Preliminary hearing on 10/24.
