Nicholas Sarkozy told witness not to come to court; jury hears calls recorded by the jail and Jesus Alonso testimony

I just did a post on October 17 on convicted criminal and repeat offender Nicholas Sarkozy current jury trial in one of his 2025 cases. He has two other cases. He was supposed to be arraigned on information in the other 2025 case on October 17.

Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran was assigned the trial. Yet another delay with witness scheduling in this trial resulted in another break and jurors were asked to come back tomorrow. Arraignment on information in the second case also continued to 10/21.

Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Brandon Boozari is the prosecutor for all of Sarkozy's cases. Humboldt County DA Investigator Tim Marsolan is the investigative officer for this trial. Deputy Conflict Counsel Zach Curtis is Sarkozy's attorney.

On 10/17/25, Mr. Boozari told Judge Killoran that Sarkozy made two calls to witness Jesus Alonso "asking him not to come to court today."

After hearing from Sarkozy, attorneys, Judge Killoran made his ruling. Alonso ended up testifying. The jurors heard the jail calls.

10/21/25: Jane Doe 2 testifies; Jane Doe 1 recalled by People. Sarkozy takes the stand. Closing arguments expected to start 10/22.
