In 2022, HCSO issued a press release about two probation violations and two arrests on various charges. One of them was Quention Laone Bell.
"During a search of the vehicle, deputies located over 27 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia belonging to 37-year-old passenger Quentin Laone Bell. Bell was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of a controlled substance HS 11378 and violation of probation PC 1203.2(a)(2), in addition to warrant charges of driving with a suspended license VC 14601.1(a) and violation of promise to appear VC 40508(a)."

A search for Bell comes up with 48 cases in Humboldt Superior Court and I could not even fit them in one screenshot. Even without the duplicates which seem to be a glitch in e court that has not been fixed for years, Bell has a lot of cases. I have included a screenshot of the list of all his local cases and the screenshots of two cases Bell filed which were dismissed and one conviction. Bell is another one that needs to be declared a vexatious litigant.
Yesterday, I was checking computer records and came across a case filed by Bell and We Shine Together LLC against City of Eureka, Eureka Police Department, Humboldt District Attorney, Humboldt County, Wells Fargo and "Compass Bank". I assume he means Compass Community Credit Union.
Bell is representing himself. He has filed a fee waiver. The document has a confidential stamp which I am not sure is from the court but somehow got scanned into e court. I have a copy but I am not going to post confidential information on the blog.
10:30 a.m. Court admin just thanked me for not posting the document and it has been removed from e court.
I don't know if it was granted from the pages scanned but if what Bell stated on the form is accurate, he does not have a pot to piss in and lists his job as CEO and employer as Secretary of State with a Los Angeles address.
I have included the civil case cover sheet and the complaint filed. I don't know how the court clerks kept a straight face while accepting these documents. This is such a waste of the clerks' time and waste of time and court resources that Humboldt Superior Court Judge Timothy Canning's time or whoever gets to hear this case; if it even proceeds to that stage because under case name, Bell lists stipulation for settlement and proposed order.
There is a case management conference scheduled for 3/20/26.
This is the Linkedin profile for Bell.
