After months of continuances, Carson Crossley resolves 2024 case before preliminary hearing

 



On 10/7,  Carson Zhou Crossley entered a plea in his 2024 case. Retired Humboldt Superior Court Judge John Feeney took the plea. Crossley pleaded guilty to Count 1. Count 2 was dismissed. A stay away order is part of the plea.

Humboldt County Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Conflict Counsel R.J. Leohner is Crossley's attorney. Sentencing is on 11/3.

11/3/25: Two years probation.


11/26/25: Defense motion to continue hearing on restitution granted; contested hearing on restitution on 1/22/26.
