Stopped by the Humboldt Bay Fire Open House. First photo is HBF Engineer Mike Porter; second photo is HBF newbie Justin Anderson. I know Justin & he is a great addition to the team. Was going to get a photo of HBF Chief Nathan Baxley but he had the nerve to take vacation! He gets a pass because of his wife, another wonderful asset to protecting our community. Third photo EPD dispatch, Community Services team and officers who I see and talk with regularly. Fourth photo is obvious but it is on E street as you enter the HBF Fire Open House. I chose not to take photos of parents and families but the excitement from kids to teenagers is what makes covering these community events special.
