2022 Humboldt assessment roll available via online search

Mari Wilson, Humboldt County Assessor, is pleased to inform the public that the 2022 assessment roll has been completed. An assessment roll is a list of all assessable property in a given community.

The values are now available on the Assessor's Online Search web page, where a Property Assessment Inquiry can be searched by parcel number, assessment number, or street address.

Once again, the Assessor’s Office is providing assessed value notices to owners of real and personal property via the county website. Changes in value might occur because the current real estate climate has reduced the market value of the property below its Proposition 13 factored base year value, ownership changes, new construction, construction in progress, business property assessments, and restricted value of property under the Williamson Act or Timber Production Zone (TPZ).

Property owners without access to the county's website may obtain a printed value notice by calling the Assessor’s Office at (707) 445-7663 or toll free at (866) 240-0485 and requesting a notice be sent to them. Owners can also make written request to Assessor Mari Wilson, 825 5th Street, Room 300, Eureka, CA 95501 or come to the Assessor's Office to request a notice in person. Community members with questions regarding their assessed values may contact the Assessor's Office for more information.

In addition to value information the  offers maps, frequently used forms, and links to property tax information. For more information regarding property assessments, please visit the Assessor's web page or call (707) 445-7663.
