On the third day of jury selection, Spotted Elk Carlos Eugene Zumwalt resolved his case for a stipulated sentence of 10 years, 4 months. On July 5, Zumwalt rejected an offer of 24 years in prison.
The victims are three minor Jane Does. Original charges included sexual intercourse, sexual penetration and showing/distributing pornography to a minor.

Deputy Public Defender Adrian Kamada is Zumwalt's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm appeared on the case for Deputy DA Carolyn Schaffer.
