"Nosy Nancy" felt entitled to interrupt EPD doing their job and mine

Her pose says it all. EPD Officers are in the middle of a probation search with two chatty, beligerent people. I am standing far away, letting the officers do their job. Trying to contact EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell, posting live and had just started a video so you could see some of the search.

"Nosy Nancy" walked up behind me, stleathly, and started asking questions and demanding answers. Lady, I don't owe you or any stranger any answers and information. Especially, when the first sentence out of your mouth was rude.

You don't get to walk up to someone you don't know and continue harassing them while they work. You don't get to interrupt police officers in the middle of a search and ask questions. Curious? Wait, like everyone else had the decency to do this Sunday afternoon.

I could have gone up to the officers for my post but unlike you, I had brains and respect to stand far until the appropriate time. So did other onlookers. People drove by carefully and respectfully.

I answered one question about who I was and what I was doing. You didn't answer who you were other than say you are a "citizen" who sees certain stuff and police and wants to poke her nose when there is nothing untoward going on.

I had to step away from you so the officers could continue public safety without your loud mouth interfering. You made me miss crucial information.  At that time, I also observed a guy with the same build and with a long stick like the one caputured in the video surveillance about the break in at the Kaber Law Office. Wanted to take a photo of him but you blew that opportunity.

Next time, "Nosy Nancy" stand, observe and guage the situation. If you are still curious and if you have questions, wait and pick a time less intrusive and distracting. Criminal activity is rampant in Eureka and we don't need some biased, anti-cop entitled "Karen" with an agenda butting in when officers are trying to keep the community safe.

I talk to and help a lot of people who see the friendly, polite and kind side of me. Their interaction with me is positive. If your experience is different, look in the mirror and your behavior for the reason why.
