Deputy District Attorney Steve Steward who was elected as the newest Humboldt Superior Court Judge took some time off from the campaign. He is back in the office. 

At my request, he sent the following brief statement. "I want to thank all the supporters and folks who helped out with the campaign.  I am looking forward to assuming this important role and I am committed to serving the people of Humboldt County with fairness and impartiality. "
