Ruby Loureiro has two arrests for VOP in 6 months

Ruby Cheryl Loureiro arrested by HCSO for violation of probation and giving a false name to law enforcement.

In September 2020, Loureiro was arrested by the Fortuna Police Department for possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation.

FPD Press Release:

On Wednesday, September 9th, 2020 at approximately 11:14 A.M., Fortuna Detectives were conducting a probation search at a residence in the 300 block of North Fortuna Blvd. in Fortuna. 

Detectives located and recovered a stolen vehicle during the search. The vehicle was reported stolen from a local Fortuna business on August 8, 2020. 

The suspect in this investigation was identified as, Ralph Otis Springs Jr., age 47. Criminal charges are being forwarded to the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office concerning Springs involvement. The stolen vehicle was returned to the owner at the conclusion of this investigation. 

While conducting this search Detectives contacted Ruby Cheryl Loureiro, age 31. Loureiro was found to be in possession of two containers of suspected Methamphetamine. Ruby Cheryl Loureiro was subsequently arrested on the charges of 11377(a) of the Health and Safety Code – Possession of Controlled Substance and 1203.2 of the California Penal Code – Violation of Probation.
