I came in towards the end of as Judge Christopher Wilson was excusing the jurors in the Michael Flowers trial for the day and this was minutes the courtroom was opened.
The Flowers trial has been dark several days. I don't know what the issues were previously but I have a hunch. Today, I can tell you that I heard something about another courtroom but Judge Wilson specifically saying he could not do anything because "counsel is not ready."
After jurors left, the issue today was apparent.
It isn't counsel; it was Mr. Russ Clanton. He said, "I apologize" to Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads.
Judge Wilson said, "It is what it is."
