U. S. Capitol Police Officers and veterans James Blassingame and Sidney Hemby are suing Donald Trump for unspecified damages for physical injuries, aiding assault and battery and directing infliction of emotional distress.
The officers accuse Trump of inciting the violent mob that led to the January 6 riots at the Capitol resulting in injuries and deaths of their fellow officers.
