On March 16, I reported that Ms. Andrea Sullivan, attorney for Mauricio Eduardo Johnson, "will be vigorously petitioning" California Governor Gavin Newson to not sign the extradition warrant
Johnson is the suspect in the homicide of three Bear River residents. He is currently in custody in Utah and is charged in Humboldt but has not been arraigned.
Ms. Sullivan just informed me that the legal unit of Governor Newsom's office is reviewing the request for the extradition warrant for Johnson.
"I have confirmation from the legal unit of the Governor's office that they are confirming my correspondence with them in any possible extradition warrant in Mauricio Sanchez -Johnson case.
More details on the case in the previous post.
