Once again, the County loses to Allison Jackson and HUMCPR

"The petition for writ of mandate, prohibition, or other appropriate relief is denied.  Petitioners have failed to meet their burden of showing that they lack a plain, speedy, and adequate remedy at law."

The County lost, once again, to Allison Jackson. The County adds another loss against HUMCPR.

Expenses for out of area counsel and a lawsuit that could have been avoided.

On October 4, on behalf of HUMCPR and HUMCPR affiliates, Harland Law Firm's Ms. Allison Jackson filed  and served Humboldt County a Verified Petition for Writ of Mandate and Injunctive Relief.
CEQA violations, environmental impact, public interest were alleged in HUMCPR's writ.

I covered another hearing on February 29,2020.
