No jail time for sex offender David Dues in his sexual battery case


Sex offender David Dues was arrested in October for sexual battery. Today he resolved that case and admitted to three violations of probation.

Dues got no jail time for the sexual battery arrest.  He got sentenced to 180 days on one probation case, with one day suspended. Dues' probation on the other two cases was revoked and reinstated on probation for three years He was in jail for 13 actual days. Dues was served with a CLETS protective order.

Probation wants him to get treament. No information was stated on record about what kind of treatment.

Deputy Public Defender Jennie Stepanian is Dues' attorney. Deputy District Attorney Kimberly Beatty is the prosecutor for the case.

Victim is Kimberley Lemen.
