"See Kent we do agree, I have no interest in you being Chair or Vice Chair"

Starting next year, Second District Supervisor Estelle Fennell will be Board Chair and Third District Supervisor Mike Wilson will be Vice-Chair.

Kent Sawatzky, who has no life other than showing up at every government meeting in Humboldt county, including cities he is not a resident of and abusing public comment by speaking on every item was aptly put in place by current Humboldt County Board Chair and First District Supervisor Rex Bohn. This was after Sawatzky said he had no interest in being Chair or Vice Chair.

Sawatzky may have some valid points to make years ago but now he just speaks to hear himself. If he is going to use the entire three minutes and comment on every item, he needs to work on his content.

Public comment is not designed to be a monologue.  While I loathe to give Sawatzky the attention he seeks, the zinger by Supervisor Bohn expresses the sentiment many feel. Sawatzky should put his money and his self proclaimed power to productive use in the community for some worthwhile cause or run for office. Instead of his previous community watchdog role, Sawatazky is now viewed as the town clown.
