Adult female victim from 5th and O incident still in the hospital

I followed up on the 5th and O incident from this weekend. EPD Chief Steve Watson told me, " the adult female victim is still in the hospital and the incident it is still under active investigation.  Possible assault. Pretty significant injuries."

EPD Captain Stephens told me, "Detective Watson is actively working the investigation. We are still investigating this as suspicious circumstances and trying to piece together what happened."

As I said in the original post, I have a name and some other information but want to wait and see if it can be confirmed, allow EPD to finish investigating. and for the victim's safety.

Captain Stephens or EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell will release an update when they have more to report.
