Preliminary hearing for vehicular manslaughter and DUI suspec Ryder Stapp was scheduled as a special set for January 31. It is an all day preliminary hearing. Intervention is on January 15. For now, it is scheduled in Courtroom 1 but there has been some discussion for it to be assigned to Judge Kaleb Cockrum.
District Attorney Maggie Fleming was present for the People. The prosecutor for the case is Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm who was in another courtroom handling several preliminary hearings. Mr. Neal Sanders, Stapp's attorney recently received a lot of discovery.
Victims are Robert Beland and Elizabeth Martin.
