Individual jurors were questioned last week in Ray Christie's case. This morning attorneys are arguing motions. This afternoon, the process of selecting jurors is scheduled to start.
Here is a small preview from this morning. Judge Christopher Wilson said to one of Christie's attorneys, John Cogorno, "doesn't someone doing business have to follow the law?"
" You have to know the law," responded Cogorno. That response was folowed by the best zinger from Judge Wilson, "that would absolve anyone from anything."
The defense has filed an amended list of witnesses.
Deputy District Attorney David Moutrie is second chair to Deputy DA Adrian Kamada who is the lead prosecutor for this case. Christie's other attorney is Mr. Ken Bareilles.
